PORT AUTHORITY ANNOUNCES CHANGE IN CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE FOR GEORGE WASHINGTON BRIDGE

 NEW YORK, Aug. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Paving of the New Jersey-bound lower level of the George Washington Bridge previously scheduled to begin on Monday, Aug. 8, has been changed to on or about Aug. 12. The work will be performed Monday through Thursday from 9 p.m. until 6 a.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 11:59 p.m. until 9 a.m. the following morning. Minor delays are expected.
 During the construction period, motorists will be diverted to the New Jersey-bound upper level. The work is scheduled for completion in late October.
