PORSCHE CARS AND FALLON MCELLIGOTT END ADVERTISING RELATIONSHIP

RENO, Nev., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Fred Schwab, president of Porsche Cars North America, and Pat Fallon, chairman of Fallon McElligott, jointly announced the end of their five-year client relationship today.
"It's been a wonderful relationship, but it's simply impossible to continue because of the key management changes, and changes in philosophy here at Porsche," said Schwab. "Thus, it's time for a change, in spite of the great work they've done for Porsche over the years."
Fallon added, "Porsche has been very special to us -- it's more than a business relationship. We admire what they stand for. They are a tough, independent company that builds an excellent product. They've been a creative inspiration for us, and a part of our culture. That's why there's no doubt we'll keep the 1963 356B that stands proudly in our lobby. It's a symbol of our culture."
Fallon also said that there would be no layoffs at the agency as a result of this loss.
