POP WARNER FOOTBALL: EAST VALLEY GETS STOPPED CRENSHAW TAKES MIDGET CROWN.

East Valley's undefeated regular season couldn't quite translate into postseason success.

Trailing 12-8 Sunday with six minutes remaining in the Valley Youth Conference's Midget Division championship, East Valley was stopped for a 3-yard loss on a fourth-down play at Crenshaw's 16-yard line.

After a college career at the University of Detroit Mercy, Green was selected by the Seattle SuperSonics in the second round  scored two touchdowns to lead the Westside Bruins to a 20-6 victory over Mid-Valley.
