LANCASTER -- Pop singer/occasional actress Ashlee Simpson has been added to the concert lineup for the 2006 Antelope Valley This article is about the Los Angeles County region. For the census-designated place in Wyoming, see Antelope Valley-Crestview, Wyoming.

The 21-year-old Simpson will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, on the fair's second day.

Grandstand seating at her concert is included with fair admission. Reserved seats are $30 and $65.

Younger sister of singer Jessica Simpson, Ashlee Simpson was a teen actress on television shows like ``Malcolm in the Middle'' and ``7th Heaven.''

The making of her 2004 debut album, ``Autobiography,'' was the subject of a MTV MTV

The fair will run from Aug. 25 to Sept. 4 at the fairgrounds n. pl. 1. same as fairground. , 2551 W. Ave. H. Fair admission for adults and teens will be $1 more than last year: $8 for visitors ages 12 and older, $5 for children ages 6 to 11, and $5 for seniors over 62. Active-duty military personnel with military identification will be admitted free, as well as children under 6.

Concert grandstand seating is included with fair admission. Reserved seats closer to the stage can be purchased for $25 to $65, depending on the concert.

Train will perform Aug. 25, the fair's opening night. Reserved seats cost $35 and $65.

El Chapo de Sinaloa and Jenni Rivera perform Aug. 27. All seats are free with that day's Pay One Price admission of $15, which includes carnival rides.

Nelson will perform Aug. 28. Reserved seats cost $30 and $65.

Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform Aug. 29. Reserved seats cost $25 and $50.

Evans and Gracin will perform Aug. 30. Reserved seats cost $25 and $50.

All concerts will begin at 7:30 p.m.
