POM to upgrade security at Hilton hotel in Newark.

 (POM), a Manhattan-based security technology firm, has been retained by Hilton Hotels Corporation Hilton Hotels Corporation (NYSE: HLT) is one of the leading global hospitality companies. As of April 2007 there are 2,645 hotels and 485,000 rooms employing 105,000 people in more than 80 countries.  to upgrade and maintain the security system in the Hilton Newark Penn Station, located at Gateway Center--Raymond Boulevard, Newark, New Jersey, announces Jon Ecker, president of POM.

It is the second project awarded to POM by the Hilton Hotels Corporations and includes the upgrade of the hotel's security system with the installation of a complete digital video recorder See DVR.  (DVR (1) (Digital Video Recorder) A device that records video onto a hard disk from one or more ceiling mounted video cameras. Part of a security system, the DVR typically supports 4, 8 or 16 separate camera channels. ) surveillance system and a total of 16 new cameras.

"The Hilton name is synonymous with fine service and luxury and it's only fitting that the organization would install top-of-the line security technology systems designed specifically to protect patrons and the property," says Mr. Ecker. "Working with the Hilton Hotels Corporation is always a rewarding experience and we look forward to additional projects in the future."
