POLITICAL BRIEFS : WESTSIDE DISTRICT FORUM SCHEDULED.


Westside Union School District board candidates will speak at a candidates forum Oct. 21 at 6:30 p.m. at the Lane Park Community Room, Avenue L-8 at 55th Street West.

The forum is sponsored by the Quartz Hill Town Council.

McClure to host coffee, pie social

LANCASTER - Edwin McClure, candidate for the Lancaster School District board, will hold a fund-raiser coffee and pie social at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the Day Care Zone, 1504 W. Ave. K-11.

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door for $10 a person or $15 per couple.
