Geier's mother, Theresa Geier, is a Burbank police officer, and his stepfather, Dan Hulben, is a Glendale police officer, according to police at the two departments. The parents could not be reached for comment. Investigators found no sign of forced entry at Green's home, but his BMW was missing and turned up three days later in Glendale, police said. ``We do know the suspect took the victim's car,'' said Los Angeles Police Department Lt. Raul Vega of Northeast Division. ``We interviewed witnesses that knew about the vehicle, and those interviews led us to the identity of the suspect and his whereabouts.'' And that led authorities to Texas. On June 9, Los Angeles police told their counterparts in San Antonio that Geier was at a Greyhound bus station and armed with a 9 mm handgun.
