POLA Discovers that White Peach Flower Extract Helps Improve Blood Circulation.

 has elucidated a unique property of white peach flower in collaboration with Teikyo University and Okayama University.

According to the recent joint research, the extract of white peach flower has a property to inhibit the production of plasminogen activator inhibitor type-1 (PAI-1), a substance that inhibits thrombolysis thrombolysis /throm·bol·y·sis/ (throm-bol´i-sis) dissolution of a thrombus.

Subsequently, they have concluded that the extract helps improve the blood circulation.

Details of this discovery were presented at the 52nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Pharmacognosy pharmacognosy /phar·ma·cog·no·sy/ (fahr?mah-kog´nah-se) the branch of pharmacology dealing with natural drugs and their constituents.
