PM suite upgrade.
Version 6.0 of eClinicalWorks adds several features to the practice
management solutions suite, which consists of the Front Office, EMR and
PM applications. Linux support allows solo physicians and small
practices to increase efficiency while cutting their overall costs.
Support for Microsoft's Digital Ink can be utilized on tablet PCs
for chart annotations, scanning documents and annotations, and for
prescription signatures. The integration of Dragon NaturallySpeaking
enables physicians to use voice for EMR documentation. New Front Office
features include multiprovider and resource scheduling views as well as
interactive notification of alerts, messages, lab orders and telephone
encounters. Improved functionality of the EMR component includes
bidirectional integration with LabCorp and Quest Diagnostics systems for
lab orders and results, and improved chart formatting for SOAP notes.
The PM application offers integration and checking of Medicare CCI and
LMRP codes as well as "one-click" electronic submission of
batch claims. eClinicalWorks, Westboro, Mass. www.rsleads.com/408ht-183
