FOR OSCAR (Open System for CommunicAtion in Realtime) AOL's internal project name for AOL Instant Messenger (AIM). Using digital cameras, 3-D rendering and VR technology, the four-disk set allows users to browse through thousands of photos, movie props and original artwork.
