NetChannel is expected to announce today it is acquiring ViewCall America Inc., which supplies Web set-top boxes for Hitachi and Mitsubishi, and will launch its Web service by this summer. The boxes, which sport between six and eight megabytes of RAM, will range from $299 to $399. Users will also pay a monthly subscription rate of $19.95.
