On Sept. 8, commissioners heard testimony from both vineyard supporters and those opposing the 15-year conditional use permit - mostly residents of the neighboring Sierra Colony Ranch development - but agreed to continue the hearing Nov. 3 so the commission could gain a better understanding of the issues. ``We wanted to become more familiar with the operations, the traffic patterns, see how this land use (permit) matches with the neighboring communities,'' said Pat Modugno, one of the five commissioners. ``Now we will be able to visually understand, instead of just looking at a map.''
