PINNACLE SYSTEMS AND SONY CREATE DIGITAL VIDEO BUNDLE.


Pinnacle Systems Pinnacle Systems, Inc. is a California-based American manufacturer of digital video hardware and software for the consumer and broadcast markets. It was founded in 1986. In 2002 Pinnacle purchased VOB Computersysteme GmbH (now pinnaclesys.de).  and Sony Electronics Sony Electronics Inc., headquartered in San Diego, Calif., is the largest component of Sony Corporation of America, the U.S. holding company for Sony's U.S.-based electronics and entertainment businesses.  are bringing together three of their key products in a bundle deal designed to offer European consumers the ultimate in digital video capture and editing. Sony is set to launch eight new models in its Digital8 Handycam camcorder family at the beginning of April. Two of these models, the TRV TRV Technical Remote Viewing

Studio DV, one of the most popular consumer video editing products in the US and Europe, is an internal PCI (1) (Payment Card Industry) See PCI DSS.

Studio DV lets users transfer digital video from a digital camcorder to their PC. It enables users to select the best scenes and arrange them in any order, add titles, scene transitions, music, narration and special effects. Users can choose from more than 100 professional-style scene transitions, and more than 300 styles for titles, including neon, metallic and drop shadows. Once the video is completed, users can save it on a DV tape, or digitize it in an MPEG (Moving Pictures Experts Group) An ISO/ITU standard for compressing digital video. Pronounced "em-peg," it is the universal standard for digital terrestrial, cable and satellite TV, DVDs and digital video recorders (DVRs).  or Real Video format. Studio DV saves disk space -- an entire tape can be captured in as little as 150MB.
