First awarded in 1974, the past recipients of this award have been instrumental in building and growing the PIMA organization. The winner of this prestigious award is kept secret until announced at the awards ceremony. [ILLUSTRATION OMITTED] The recipient of this year's Glen T. Renegar Award is long time PIMA member, Ray Heuchling of Irving Irving, city (1990 pop. 155,037), Dallas co., N Tex., a suburb of Dallas; inc. as a city 1952. Building supplies, chemicals, electronic equipment, and airplane parts are manufactured in Irving. Forest Products. Ray was chosen for the award due to his outstanding service over the past several years and for the true leadership he exhibits every day. He served as a PIMA officer, PIMA President from 2002-2003, and then past president from 2003-2004. Ray also made many efforts to solidify so·lid·i·fy v. so·lid·i·fied, so·lid·i·fy·ing, so·lid·i·fies v.tr. 1. To make solid, compact, or hard. 2. To make strong or united. v.intr. the relationship between PIMA National and all the divisions. He has been a great leader for PIMA over the last several years. Ray continues to work hard to help PIMA and shows no sign of letting up. |
