PILLSBURY PROMOTES ALEXANDER B. CUMMINGS, JR., TO VICE PRESIDENT OF FINANCE FOR STRATEGIC BRAND DEVELOPMENT AND INTERNATIONAL

 MINNEAPOLIS, Nov. 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Pillsbury today announced that Alexander B. Cummings, Jr., has been promoted to vice president of finance for strategic brand development and international, effective immediately.
 Cummings, 37, joined Pillsbury in 1982. Most recently, he held the position of director of finance for Green Giant brands. Prior to that, he served successive appointments as Pillsbury's director of finance for the Baked Goods Division and for the Pizza Group. Before joining Pillsbury, Cummings was employed by the Liberian Development Bank, Monrovia, Liberia.
 Cummings received a master's of business administration degree in finance from Atlanta University, in 1982. He earned a bachelor's degree in finance and economics from Northern Illinois University, DeKalb, Ill., in 1978.
 Cummings serves on the board of directors of Sabathani Community Center and St. Peter's A.M.E. Church, Minneapolis.
