 PILLSBURY NAMES DEENA G. BEHNKE VICE PRESIDENT
 OF MARKET DEVELOPMENT & STRATEGIC PLANNING
 MINNEAPOLIS, Dec. 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Pillsbury, a subsidiary of Grand Metropolitan PLC, today announced that Deena G. Behnke has been named vice president of market development and strategic planning for the Baked Goods Division, effective immediately. She succeeds Linda B. Keene, who recently assumed the position of vice president and general manager of Pillsbury's Desserts and Specialty Products business.
 In her new position, Behnke is responsible for strengthening and expanding Pillsbury's baked goods business in targeted demographic and regional markets.
 Most recently, Behnke was director of new business development for Pillsbury's Prepared Dough Products, where she had responsibility for new product development efforts. Prior to that, she was director of business development for the company's International Group. Behnke has held a variety of other positions in the Technology, International and New Business Development Groups since joining Pillsbury in 1974.
 Behnke received a bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Northwestern University, Chicago, in 1971. She earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, St. Paul, Minn., in 1979.
