PIERRE SALINGER JOINS GLOBAL TELEWORKS BOARD OF DIRECTORS

 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Global Teleworks Corp. (Vancouver: GLT) President Neville Abreo is pleased to announce the appointment of Pierre Salinger to the company's board of directors.
 Salinger is former chief foreign correspondent for ABC News in London.

 Salinger will bring extensive international experience to Global and will assist the corporation in identifying and establishing strategic alliances with telecommunications partners in Europe and the Middle East.
 SALINGER BACKGROUND
 Salinger has held numerous positions in his illustrious career. During the sixties, his political experiences were as press secretary for the White House during the Kennedy and Johnson Administrations; a U.S. Senator and the senior advisor to Robert F. Kennedy. Salinger's business career during this period includes positions as vice president of the National General Corporations and vice president of Continental Airlines.
 His journalism career has spanned six decades, in which time he has worked for the San Francisco Chronicle; Collier's Magazine; L'Express in Paris; Europe 1 and ABC News as chief foreign correspondent. In addition to being the author of nine books which have sold millions of copies, Salinger has won every top prize for television coverage including three Emmys. Salinger has also been the recipient of four honorary degrees and one of France's highest awards, Officier de la Legion d'Honneur.
 Salinger is currently a member of the board of directors of the Robert F. Kennedy Memorial Foundation and honorary chairman of American University in Paris.
 Salinger replaces Martin Cotter who has resigned from the board.
 GLOBAL TELEWORKS
 Global Teleworks uses existing communications infrastructure to provide enhanced communication services. The company's Global Number technology is unique to the telecommunications industry. It ensures that a subscriber is reached by telephone or fax regardless of where the subscriber is in North America. "Our customers now give out only one number," explained Abreo. Customers include residential and small- to mid-sized business.
