PIA starts 3rd weekly flight to Muscat from Sialkot.

 Monday announced the launch of its 3rd weekly flight between Pakistans historic industrial city of Sialkot and Muscat Muscat, Maskat, or Masqat (all: mŭs`kăt, mŭs`kət), city (1993 pop. 533,774), capital of Oman, SE Arabia, on the Gulf of Oman. It is flanked by rugged mountains.  from May 24, 2010. With the introduction of this flight PIA will now operate three weekly flights from Sialkot to Muscat on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday. PIA is already operating flights from Sialkot to Sharjah, Kuwait, Jeddah and London while connections will be provided to passengers travelling to/from Sialkot on PIA flights to other destinations. PIA is also exploring the possibilities of launching operation from Sialkot to Barcelona and some other destinations that are commercially viable.
