PHS develops wellness program for employees.


Princeton, New Jersey-based Presbyterian Homes & Services Inc, a not-for-profit provider of senior housing and health care options, is establishing a wellness program for the 1,200 employees at its 20 senior communities. It will consist of bimonthly seminars on meditation, nutrition, stretching, breathing, ergonomics, motivational techniques, massage and body work, reiki reiki /rei·ki/ (ra´ke) [Japanese] a healing tradition of Eastern origin whose purpose is to rebalance the complex energy systems that compose the body when they have become out of balance, using channeling of energy from an unlimited universal energy source through the hands of the practitioner. (helping the body heal itself), reflexology
1. the science or study of reflexes.
2. a therapeutic technique based on the premise that areas in the hands or feet correspond to the organs and systems of the body and stimulation of these areas by pressure can affect the corresponding organ or system.
