The Company announced it has established itself as a U.S. business, raised $8 million in Series C funding, and rounded out its veteran management team. Today Azure Partners and Index Ventures joined Zend's existing investors, Platinum and Walden Israel to close the company's Series C $8 Million investment. This latest round of funding will be used for continued PHP innovation, product development and marketing and to expand Zend's sales and channel support.

In addition to Zend's newly established U.S. headquarters in Cupertino, Calif. in the heart of Silicon Valley, the Company also announced that it has rounded out its executive management team with the addition of Pamela Roussos as vice president of marketing. Zend will leverage Roussos' strong experience leading teams of engineers and marketing professionals and growing successful businesses to expand its presence worldwide. Roussos has held executive level positions at Consera Software, Rational Software, Pure Software, and other leading technology companies.
