PHARMACEUTICAL INQUIRY INDEX LAUNCHED ON INTERNET.


InteliHealth, Blue Bell, Pa., one of the most comprehensive and trusted sources of consumer health information on the Internet (www.intelihealth.com), has launched a new Internet- based barometer that measures consumer attention paid to pharmaceutical products.

The new index is a listing of the 100 most frequently searched medications on InteliHealth's consumer web sites.

InteliHealth receives more than 500,000 searches per month through prominent areas on America Online See AOL. , AltaVista, CBS (Cell Broadcast Service) See cell broadcast. .com, PointCast, InteliHealth.com and more than 100 local newspaper sites. Once each month, InteliHealth will post the full list at http://www.intelihealth.com/top100/ and release the top twenty most-searched pharmaceutical terms to the trade and consumer media.

"Millions of consumers search for health information at InteliHealth each month, making our ability to spot national and international health trends a unique feature of our company," said Bob Pringle, president of InteliHealth. "This medication list is the first of many such trends that we will be able to decipher from our huge database of searches over the next several months."
