The Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E) , (NYSE: PCG), is the utility that provides natural gas and electricity to most of Northern California.

PG&E's selection of ESRI software for a company-wide site license is the latest in a series of large-scale implementations by the nation's largest energy businesses. Half of the nation's top dozen energy businesses now use ESRI's enterprise GIS software. PG&E joins major utilities such as Southern Company, DTE Energy, CenterPoint Energy, Consumers Energy, PHI Holdings, and many others.
