PFLAG booster.Having been quoted in your August 30 story "Family Boosters" regarding Parents, Families, and Friends of Lesbians and Gays, I note that no mention was made of our chapter's appreciation for all the work the national group does for our chapter. Our chapter's needs are not a reflection on what national does or does not do for us, but rather the result of a growing chapter whose needs can best be met by our own local community. If change is to happen, many more parents of LGBT LGBT Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender children, LGBT people, and our allies must come forward, not just with their pocketbooks but with their talent and their time.
