PESCO-UBL sign agreement on E-billing payment.

PESHAWAR, August 27, 2010 (Balochistan Times): Peshawar Electric Supply Company (PESCO) and United Bank Limited (UBL) have signed an agreement on E-Billing payment here at Wapda House on Friday. Chief Executive Officer PESCO Muhammad Wali and Regional Head UBL Mian Unwan-Uddin signed the agreement in a ceremony. On this occasion PESCO Chief Engineers Abdul Hanan, Shahid Mehmood, Mir Hawas Khan and Malik Muhammad Siddique Awan, DGM (Finance) Anwarul Haq Yousafzai and DG (HR and Admn) Syed Chand Badshah Bukhari were present on this occasion. From UBL area manager Saeed Ahmad and Manager Alliance Umer Farooq were also present. E-Billing payment agreement between PESCO and UBL will bring large number of facilities to the customers of PESCO. Customers would be able to pay their electricity bills in easy, electronic and automatic way and they will get rid of long queues. The customers would also be able to pay electricity bills through their mobile phones, Internet and even through a single call. The customers will be able to pay their bill telling their ID and Account numbers, where on payment they will also get a digital deposit slip for record. The concept of Omni Dukan will facilitate all the consumers and especially the consumers having no accounts, where people will be able to pay their bills on UBL Omni Dukan easily. This facility will be available to a large number of consumers as UBL has licensed higher numbers of shopkeepers throughout the province to facilitate the public in receiving the bills. In addition to the above facility consumers would be able to pay their PESCO bills from any part of the country and even from abroad also, by utilizing UBL e billing payment facility. PESCO further said that it is committed to provide better facilities to the public and e-Billing facility would bring ease to the customers in depositing their bills.
