The Niagrara County papers are owned by Community Newspaper Holdings Inc. of Birmingham, Ala. ... At the Ohio Valley Publishing Co., Den Dickerson has resigned as publisher. Ohio Valley, which produces a trio of newspapers including the Daily Sentinel of Pomeroy, has retained the services of Carl Esposito as interim publisher; earlier Esposito was publisher of the Middletown Journal and a group vice president for Cox Ohio. Austin replaces Joe Weiler, who had been with the paper for 20 years, serving the last 14 as executive editor. Weiler retired Feb. 1. ... Nevels-Haun had been state and regional editor of Kentucky's Lexington Herald-Leader since 1999 and earlier in her career had been the city editor of Ohio's Marietta Times.
