 PERRY FREY AND DAVE MILNER PROMOTED BY GREAT AMERICAN BROADCASTING
 CINCINNATI, Feb. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- David H. Crowl, president of the radio group of Great American Broadcasting Company, announced today that Perry Frey has been promoted to president and general manager of WTVN-AM, Columbus, Ohio, and that David E. Milner has been promoted to president and general manager of KEX-AM, Portland, Ore.
 "These promotions recognize the exceptional contributions Perry and Dave have made to our radio group. Through their efforts, we have had consistent and long-lasting success at each of these stations which is bound to continue," said Crowl.
 Frey has been vice president and general manager of WTVN-AM since 1979. From 1977 through 1979, he was general manager of WTVN-AM and WLVQ-FM, Columbus. He joined Taft Broadcasting, the predecessor to Great American Broadcasting, as sales manager of WTVN-FM in 1973, and had previously worked in various sales and management capacities with stations in Cincinnati, Toledo and Akron, Ohio, starting in 1968.
 Milner has been vice president and general manager of KEX-AM since 1990. From 1988 through 1990, Milner served as vice president of the radio group for Great American Broadcasting, at the same time serving as vice president and general manager of WKRC-AM, Cincinnati, from 1988 through 1989. Milner was vice president and general manager of KKRZ, Portland, from 1986 through 1988, vice president and general manager of KEX-AM from 1984 through 1988, vice president and general manager of WYNF-FM, Tampa, from 1980 through 1984, and vice president and general manager of WDAE-AM, Tampa, from 1982 through 1984. He started his broadcasting career with Taft at WTVN-AM, Columbus, in 1974.
 Great American Broadcasting owns and operates six network-affiliated television stations and 10 FM and five AM radio stations in the top 50 markets. Great American is negotiating to acquire KSLX-FM and KOPA-AM, Phoenix, from Cook Inlet Radio. Great American Broadcasting is a wholly owned subsidiary of Great American Communications Company, whose common stock trades in the over-the-counter market under the symbol GACC.
