Here comes choir's

annual Christmas concert

A preview performance of the Eugene Concert Choir's holiday program, "An Old-Fashioned Christmas ... With a Splash of Salsa," will be presented in the lobby of the Hult Center at 12:15 p.m. Thursday.

Sixty members of the choir will perform a sampling of the traditional carols and holiday favorites that will be included in the choir's upcoming concert next Sunday, Dec. 4.

Patrons are encouraged to bring their lunches to the Hult lobby. Beverages and light snacks will be available for purchase.

The full show begins at 2:30 p.m. Dec. 4 at the Hult's Silva sil·va also syl·va

In addition to the choir, Dance Theatre of Oregon, Lo Nuestro Lo Nuestro is an awards show honoring the best of Latin music, presented by television network Univision. The awards began in 1989. Notable recipients include Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Selena, Celia Cruz and Juanes.  and Caliente will perform

Tickets are $15 to $28 through the Hult box office, 682-5000.

The concert program will include the Gloria and Sanctus from Misa Criolla, a Las Posadas Posadas (pōsä`thäs), city (1991 pop. 211,297), capital of Misiones prov., NE Argentina, a port on the upper Paraná River. Its industries include woodworking and metallurgy.  Christmas carol medley med·ley
