PEOPLE.Several new managers and other staff members have recently joined FEI FEI Fédération Équestre Internationale. . They include: * Dean Krogman, FEI's new Vice President for Technical Activities and Conferences. Krogman is a member of FEI and was most recently with Thomas & Betts in Memphis, Tenn., as assistant corporate controller. He will be responsible for FEI's technical committees and conferences. Krogman is both a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000. and MBA MBA abbr. Master of Business Administration Noun 1. Reporting to him will be new conference director Bill McGrath and Janet Luallen, Director of Technical Activities. * William McGrath, who joined as Director of Conferences is responsible for planning and executing FEI's conferences. McGrath comes to FEI from Advanstar Communications in Milford, Conn., where he was Group Show Director, He has extensive experience with conferences and trade shows, and has worked on both the corporate and association side. * Mark Rosen is FEI's new Director of Tax & Economic Policy, responsible for all tax, benefit asset management, budget and finance issues. He will also be staff liaison to the FEI Committee on Taxation and represent FEI before Congress and regulatory agencies on all tax and economic issues. An attorney, Rosen earned his law degree from the University of Georgia Organization The President of the University of Georgia (as of 2007, Michael F. Heffes has joined as Managing Editor of Financial Executive magazine. Heffes has a long background in communications and marketing, working for major clients such as American Express American Express (NYSE: AXP), sometimes known as "AmEx" or "Amex", is a diversified global financial services company, headquartered in New York City. Most recently, she has been running her own communications firm in Boca Raton, Fla. * Nancy Catanzaro is FEI's new Manager of Membership Operations, overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Membership department. She has an extensive customer service/management background, and most recently worked at Cendant Corp. * April Lubold, FEI's new Web Editor, is charged with upgrading and coordinating content on the FEI Web site. Lubold comes from Prudential Insurance Co., where she had an extensive editorial background in both hard-copy and Web-based communications, including the company Intranet. |
