REED APPOINTED VP AT TROMPETER: Dale Reed was recently appointed vice president of marketing at Westlake Village-based Trompeter Electronics Inc. Reed was general manager at Soladyne, a Merix company.

Trompeter is an electronics firm founded in 1960.

 NAMED VP AT HEALTH NET: Gary Morgan was recently appointed vice president of individual sales for Health Net/Foundation Health in California California (kăl'ĭfôr`nyə), most populous state in the United States, located in the Far West; bordered by Oregon (N), Nevada and, across the Colorado River, Arizona (E), Mexico (S), and the Pacific Ocean (W). . He will assume statewide responsibility of the Individual Sales Unit, currently operating under Foundation Health.

: Professor John Mamer has been appointed interim dean at the Anderson School Anderson School may refer to:

Mamer previously served as the associate dean and chairman of the Department of Management where he oversees academic affairs in the school, including faculty appointments and promotions, as well as curriculum and academic programming.

 will lead the Anderson School's new marketing and media relations department as an associate dean. The addition was made in an effort to gain increased national and international visibility.

Van Ness will be charged with the development and implementation of a marketing plan for the school.

Lynn Lipinski, after serving as interim marketing director for the school for the past six months, has been named as director of media relations and will report to Van Ness.

BOYD, OSBERG PROMOTED AT DISNEY: Barton K. Boyd was recently promoted to chairman of Disney Consumer Products, a division of the Walt Disney Noun 1. Walt Disney - United States film maker who pioneered animated cartoons and created such characters as Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck; founded Disneyland (1901-1966)

 Co., after serving as president of the division since 1985.

In addition, Anne Osberg was promoted to president of Disney Consumer Products Worldwide, and will continue to report to Boyd. Before her promotion, Osberg was president of U.S. and Canada operations.

PHILPOTT APPOINTED VP AT CHASE MANHATTAN: Jeffrey A. Philpott was recently appointed vice president and trust officer in the Glendale office of Chase Trust Company of California, a subsidiary of the Chase Manhattan Corp.

His appointment comes after serving as Sanwa Bank California's manager of the Pasadena trust office.

Philpott will be responsible for all account administration in Southern California Southern California, also colloquially known as SoCal, is the southern portion of the U.S. state of California. Centered on the cities of Los Angeles and San Diego, Southern California is home to nearly 24 million people and is the nation's second most populated region, .
