Richard Kish, chief information officer at IT product distributor Ingram Micro Inc., is leaving the company to become CIO of e-GM, a division of General Motors Corp. Guy Abramo, Ingram's senior vice president of worldwide marketing, has been named acting CIO while the company initiates a search for a new CIO. In his new position, Kish will lead GM's global Web programs.
Safeguard Scientifics Inc., a Wayne, Pa., holding company focused on Internet business-to-business companies, appointed Dan McKinney Vice President responsible for evaluating, acquiring, and developing partner companies for Safeguard's e-commerce arm. Prior to joining Safeguard, McKinney was a program director in IBM's Global Services Acquisition and Divestitures group.
IntegrationWare, a Buffalo Grove, Ill., provider of Web-based computing solutions, appointed David Rosenberg Vice President of Sales and David Jackson Vice President of Operations. Rosenberg was formerly CEO of Genesys Conferencing Inc. Jackson was GM of the Network Solutions unit at Renaissance Worldwide.
Commerx Inc., a Chicago-based e-commerce solutions company for the industrial processing market, appointed Greg Schaffer Business Development Director. Schaffer has worked in a variety of business development roles for Chemdex, Walt Disney Imagineering, Teligent, Roll International, and Sega Enterprises.
INFe.com, a Tysons Corner, Va., Internet infrastructure company, named David Dodd a regional Vice President of its IT*CareerNET.com subsidiary. Before joining IT*CareerNET.com, Dodd was president of AcromaTech Group Inc.
Metamor Enterprises Solutions, a unit of Houston-based Metamor Worldwide Inc., named James McInerney Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing. McInerney was formerly vice president of the southern region for AT&T Solutions. Metamor Worldwide offers a broad range of IT solutions including eBusiness, ERP implementation, application maintenance and support, business process outsourcing, application development and hosting, and network integration.
