JONES HIRED AS MANAGER: Tokai Bank of California The Bank of California was founded in San Francisco, California on July 5, 1864 by William Chapman Ralston. It was the first commercial bank in the Western United States, the second-richest bank in the nation, and considered instrumental in developing the American Old West. recently hired Sue Mi Jones as manager of its trade finance department, headquartered in Los Angeles. Jones brings 12 years of international banking and industry experience to the position. Tokai Bank of California, a state-chartered bank for more than 20 years, provides regional commercial banking services for local businesses. It has 62 offices in 25 countries. ADELMANN PROMOTED AT WARNER BROS.: Chris Adelmann has been promoted to executive vice president of Warners Bros. International Theaters, a Burbank-based entertainment company. He was formerly a senior vice president at the company. He will help oversee all aspects of the development, establishment and operations of Warner Bros. exhibition venues in overseas territories. REDDITT MOVES UP AT SONY: Bruce Redditt has been named to the new position of executive vice president for corporate communications and government relations at Culver City-based Sony Pictures Entertainment. He will supervise the company's work with the news media and publicity and communications projects. Redditt joined Sony in 1995.
