DISNEY PROMOTES THREE VICE PRESIDENTS: Three vice presidents in the Disney TeleVentures subsidiary were recently promoted: Diana Ritchie to senior vice president of new media development; Maureen Whalen to senior vice president of business and legal affairs; and Barry Cottle to senior vice president of marketing.

MATHENY PROMOTED TO SENIOR V.P.: Mark Matheny was recently promoted to senior vice president of international licensing at Warner Bros BROS Brothers

Under the new international organizational structure, the licensing division's three regional vice presidents will now report directly to Matheny. He previously served as vice president and managing director of licensing operations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa Europe, the Middle East and Africa, usually abbreviated to EMEA, is a regional designation used for government, marketing and business purposes. It is particularly common amongst North American based companies, who often divide their international operations into the .

GALLARDO ADDED AT SIX FLAGS: Andy Gallardo was recently hired as public relations public relations, activities and policies used to create public interest in a person, idea, product, institution, or business establishment. By its nature, public relations is devoted to serving particular interests by presenting them to the public in the most  assistant manager at Six Flags California in Valencia.

His responsibilities will include media relations, new product publicity, special events and community relations at both Six Flags Magic Mountain Six Flags Magic Mountain is an amusement park located just west of the Valencia neighborhood of Santa Clarita, north of Los Angeles. GILL JOINS LAW FIRM: Monty S. Gill recently joined the law firm of Norman, Dowler, Sawyer, Israel & Hancock in Ventura.

Gill is a 1996 graduate of the California Western School of Law Founded in 1924, California Western School of Law (popularly known as California Western or Cal Western) is a private, non-profit law school located in San Diego, California.  in San Diego, where he was awarded the dean's scholarship. He is a member of the American, California and Nevada Bar associations.

SMITH PROMOTED TO V.P.: Joseph E. Smith has been promoted to vice president of special accounts-Southern California with Woodland Hills-based Health Net.

Smith had been director of special accounts underwriting at the health maintenance organization. Before joining Health Net, he worked for Price Waterhouse, Towers Perrin, Blue Cross of California and American Medical International.

MCNAMARA PROMOTED TO V.P.: Barbara McNamara has been promoted to the newly created position of vice president of employment and employee relations for Woodland Hills-based WellPoint Health Networks.

McNamara joined Blue Cross of California, a WellPoint subsidiary, in July 1995 as a human resources executive. She previously worked for Heller Financial Services and Transamerica Life.

FOSTER NAMED MANAGER: Howe S. Foster has been named manager of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services' office in Woodland Hills.

Foster had previously been with Grubb & Ellis for 27 years, most recently as sales manager for the firm's San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

GRIFFIN NAMED BUILDER OF YEAR: Home builder Paul E. Griffin III was recently named builder of the year by the Building Industry Association's Greater Los Angeles/Ventura County chapter.

Griffin, president of Calabasas-based Griffin Industries Inc., was recognized for his dedication and commitment to the association and community and for his professional standards.

LOWE LOWE Lowell National Historic Park (US National Park Service)  COMPLETES TRAINING: Marjorie Lowe, an enrolled agent and tax expert, recently completed a four-day training program on taxes sponsored by Triple Check, a tax preparation firm in Montrose.

Lowe received updated information on tax law changes. Lowe's West Hills firm offers tax preparation and planning services. She also has access to Triple Check's tax hotline, staffed by researchers to answer complex tax questions.

SIEGEL JOINS LOS ROBLES Robles is a common surname in the Spanish language meaning oaks, and may refer to:
