PULASKI JOINS CAPITAL: Brian Pulaski recently joined Capital Commercial/NAI's San Fernando Valley San Fernando Valley

Valley, southern California, U.S. Northwest of central Los Angeles, the valley is bounded by the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Santa Monica mountains and the Simi Hills.
 office in Encino as a senior associate in the firm's retail division.

Pulaski joined Capital Commercial from Daum Commercial Real Estate where, for the past two years, he specialized in retail sales and leasing throughout the San Fernando Valley.

GREEN PROMOTED AT BUENA VISTA: Howard E. Green has been promoted to the position of Disney's vice president of studio communications for Buena Vista Pictures Marketing.

A 21-year veteran of Disney's publicity and marketing department, Green will be responsible for internal and external communication activities.

Among his many contributions during his tenure at Burbank-based Disney, Green served as a publicist for the launch of Walt Disney Noun 1. BORGES, McCREARY PROMOTED AT KSL KSL - Knowledge Systems Laboratory : KSL Media has promoted two senior media executives, Cindy Borges and Fran McCreary. Borges has been promoted to senior vice president/management supervisor. McCreary advances to vice president/associate media director.

Also, Patrice Danielsen had been hired on as KSL's new office manager.

HILL NAMED MANAGING DIRECTOR: Malcolm T. Hill has been named the new managing director of sales at the Barrister Executive Suites. Hill will be responsible for broker relations and leasing for Woodland Hills, Sherman Oaks, Glendale, Pasadena and Encino suite locations.

Before joining Barrister, Hill worked as the managing director of office properties for Charles Dunn Co.

HALBERT RECEIVES AWARD: Dr. David Halbert recently received the Penland Award from the Agoura Chamber of Commerce for his community service. Halbert was cited for, among other things, funding scholarships at Agoura High School Agoura High School is a four-year high school, freshman-senior, in Agoura Hills, California, United States. It is the largest high school in the Las Virgenes Unified School District, with an enrollment of approximately 2,400 students. ; sponsoring more than 70 Agoura Pony Baseball teams in 18 years; and his activity in the chamber.

The award is named after Walt Penland, the first L.A. County deputy sheriff in the Las Virgenes area.

JONES, YOUNG RECEIVE COUNTRYWIDE APPOINTMENTS: Countrywide Home Loans Inc., the nation's largest independent mortgage lender and servicer, announced the appointments of Doug Jones and Ed Young in its correspondent lending division, which services savings and loans savings and loan n. a banking and lending institution, chartered either by a state or the Federal government. The new commission is designed to examine both hospital and physician payment issues within an expanding managed-care environment.
