Weiner will be responsible for overseeing casting on all projects, including comedy and drama series, movies and specials. As casting director, Weiner's most recent credits includes the pilots for ``Ally McBeal'' and ``The Practice.'' In addition, she worked on ``Family Ties,'' ``Soap'' and the ``Golden Girls.'' Madatian appointed Paramount senior VP Jasmine jasmine (jăs`mĭn, jăz–) or jessamine (jĕs`əmĭn), any plant of the genus Jasminum of the family Oleaceae (olive family). Madatian was recently appointed senior vice president of national publicity for the motion picture group of Paramount Pictures. Madatian will be responsible for national publicity for all of Paramount's theatrical releases and will manage the day-to-day activities of the Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. and New York New York, state, United States New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States.
