PENTON PURCHASES MEKO LTD.; FORMS HIGH-SPEED ELECTRONICS GROUP.


Penton Media Penton Media, Inc. (OTC: PTON.OB), founded in 1892, is a diversified business-to-business media company. Penton Media is a mass media corporation that publishes and produces over 40 magazines, 80 trade shows, and 47 web sites. , Inc. (Cleveland, OH) has acquired Meko Ltd. (Surrey, UK), a provider of newsletters, market studies and custom information services See Information Systems.  for the European computer display market. No terms were given.

Meko launched Display Monitor newsletter in 1994 for suppliers of monitors, projectors and graphic cards throughout the world and launched its Display-Cast market research service in 1999. Meko is now extending its coverage to market segments within the computer and electronics sectors.
