 PENSKE AND BOSCH ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP
 GRAND RAPIDS, Mich., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Penske Transportation


Inc. and Robert Bosch Corporation jointly announce the formation of Diesel Technology Company (DTC), a partnership to develop and produce diesel injector equipment for heavy duty commercial vehicles and other commercial applications. Penske Transportation has a 51-percent interest in the partnership, and Robert Bosch has a 49-percent interest.
 The new entity, DTC, continues the operations of the former Penske Transportation subsidiary. The company is headquartered in Grand Rapids and employs 720 people. DTC is a key supplier of electronic fuel- injection systems to Detroit Diesel Corporation and of mechanical unit injectors to locomotive engine and off-highway equipment makers in North America.
 Roger Penske, chairman and chief executive officer of Penske Transportation, said, "This partnership is an important step for Penske Transportation to better serve Diesel Technology's customers in the heavy duty fuel system market worldwide."
 Penske Transportation is one of three business groups of the Penske Corporation with headquarters in Detroit. An international supplier of transportation products and services, Penske Transportation is the parent company of Detroit Diesel Corporation and Penske Truck Leasing.
 Robert Bosch Corporation, a subsidiary of Robert Bosch GmbH headquartered in Stuttgart, Germany, reported sales of $1.2 billion in 1991 and manufactures and markets diesel and gasoline-injection equipment, electrical and electronic automotive components, mobile communications, industrial equipment, power tools and household appliances.
