PENNSYLVANIA NURSERYMEN'S ASSOCIATION WINS ADVERTISING AWARD
HARRISBURG, Pa., May 19 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Nurserymen's Association was awarded a Cameron-Addy award from the Ad Club of Central Pennsylvania in May for its "Put More Life In Your Life!" radio spot.
Cameron-Addy Awards raise scholarship funds through entries and admission to the creative competition. Local advertising, design, printing, broadcasting and related fields are invited to submit their previous year's best creative work in a variety of categories and judges are brought to Pennsylvania from around the United States and asked to determine the very best of the region's work.
The radio spot was entered into the Regional/National section for a spot more than 30 seconds in length. The radio jingle is part of a multimedia advertising campaign made available to members of the Pennsylvania Nurserymen's Association to promote the professionalism of the industry. The Marketing Committee of the Association, chaired by Chris Snavely, PAN of Snavely's Garden Corner in Chambersburg, Pa., took an active role in coordinating the campaign with the Partnership of Packer, Oesterling & Smith advertising agency and approving the winning jingle for distribution to interested members.
Snavely stated, "The committee put a lot of time and effort into this campaign. We think it's a winner and apparently the advertising experts did, too! The campaign has worked well from my own personal use and I know other association members are using it successfully. We'll keep telling consumers about the professionalism of the industry and we hope other state organizations and nurserymen will do the same."
