 PITTSBURGH, Sept. 17 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of


Transportation (PennDOT) today announced the following construction-related traffic alerts.
 -- Fort Pitt Bridge - Pittsburgh:
 Friday, Sept. 18, at 9 p.m. until Saturday, Sept. 19, at 7 a.m., the left hand lane of the ramp from the Fort Pitt Bridge to Monroeville during deck


repairs;
 Saturday, Sept. 19, at 9 p.m. until Sunday, Sept. 20, at 7 a.m., the left hand lane of the ramp from Monroeville to the Fort Pitt Bridge will be closed during deck repairs.
 -- Route 60 and Business Route 60:
 Saturday, Sept. 19 and Sunday, Sept. 20, between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m., Business Route 60 north of the new interchange with the Airport Expressway, single lane northbound traffic will be maintained during guiderail installation.
 On Wednesday, Sept. 23, between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., motorists will encounter single-lane traffic at the interchange of Route 60 (Airport Expressway) and Business Route 60 (Airport Parkway) while overhead signs are installed. Two 15-minute complete stoppages will occur when the overhead structures are set in place.
 Monday, Sept. 21, through Friday, Sept. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., motorists will encounter single-lane traffic in the area of the Route 60/Business Route 60 Interchange.
 -- Tarentum Bridge - Tarentum:
 Friday, Sept. 18, through Sunday, Sept. 20, from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., First Street from River Street to Ross Street and the ramp to the Tarentum Bridge will be closed during painting operations. Traffic will be detoured from First Street to River Street to Second Street to Ross Street to Fourth Street.
 -- Saw Mill Run Boulevard - Pittsburgh:
 Friday, Sept. 18, at 9 a.m., until Friday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m., traffic on Saw Mill Run Boulevard between Edgebrook Boulevard and Whited Street will be shifted to four 10-foot lanes (two lanes, each direction) during removal of a portion of the bridge deck;
 Friday, Sept. 25, at 6 p.m., traffic will be shifted to two 12-foot lanes (one in each direction) until Monday, Sept. 28, at 6 a.m.
 All work schedules are subject to weather conditions.
