 PENNDOT ANNOUNCES THOMPSON RUN ROAD BRIDGE WEIGHT LIMIT
 PITTSBURGH, April 3 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) today announced that the Thompson Run Road bridge over Thompson Run in Wilkins Township is scheduled to be posted for a 31-ton weight limit (and 40 tons for combination vehicles).
 The 52-year-old steel multi-girder structure carries about 1,400 vehicles per day.
 The posting was advised following a routine bridge inspection. Legal weight limit for trucks on Pennsylvania bridges is 37 tons (and 40 tons for combination vehicles).
