 PENNDOT ANNOUNCES CONSTRUCTION-RELATED TRAFFIC ALERTS
 PITTSBURGH, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Department of


Transportation (PennDOT) today announced the following construction- related traffic alerts:
 Fort Pitt Tunnel/ Parkway East -- Pittsburgh:
 Friday, Sept. 11, at 9 p.m., until Saturday, Sept. 12, at 7 a.m., and Saturday, Sept. 12, at 9 p.m., until Sunday, Sept. 13 at 7 a.m., the right lane inbound through the Ft. Pitt Tunnel and down the ramp to the Parkway East (Monroeville-bound) will be closed during expansion dam and concrete deck repair operations.
 Scott Road -- Mt. Lebanon, Dormont:
 Thursday, Sept. 17, through Friday, Oct. 16, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, traffic on Scott Road from Washington Road to Castle Shannon Boulevard will be reduced to one lane, alternating, during milling and resurfacing operations.
 Parkway West -- Moon Township:
 Monday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 18, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., traffic will be periodically reduced at the White Swan Interchange during removal of barriers, installation of guiderail and installation of signs. Both inbound and outbound traffic will be affected at different times.
 Route 51 -- Fallston, Bridgewater Boroughs:
 Monday, Sept. 14, through Friday, Sept. 18, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., traffic on Route 51, including the bridge over Sharon Road, will be restricted to one lane northbound and one lane southbound on the main line during construction of temporary median cross-overs. The week of Sept. 21 (upon completion of construction of cross-overs), the following traffic pattern will be in effect 24 hours a day until December as follows: southbound traffic will cross over to the northbound lane near Riverside Drive and will be directed back to the southbound lane about 500 feet south of the bridge over Sharon Road. Operations include concrete pavement patching and bridge deck replacement over Sharon Road.
 West Hardes Road -- Hampton Township:
 Tuesday, Sept. 15, through Friday, Sept. 18, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. daily, traffic on West Hardes Road between Hollywood Drive and Josephine Street will be reduced to one lane, alternating, with flag persons, during drainage work.
 All work schedules are subject to weather conditions.
