PECO TO MAKE DRY ICE AVAILABLE TO CUSTOMERS

 PHILADELPHIA, Dec. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Philadelphia Electric Company (PECO) said this afternoon it will make dry ice available, beginning at 7 p.m., to customers who have lost electric service in today's storm.
 The dry ice will be available, only after 7 p.m., at the following locations:
 -- Delaware County: Villanova University parking lot, Lancaster Pike, across from the Villanova Chapel.
 -- Montgomery County: King of Prussia Mall, near Bennigan's Restaurant, and Montgomery Commons, Rt. 63 west of Rt. 202, North Wales.
 -- Bucks County: PECO's Newtown Service Building, No. 1 Friends Lane, Newtown Industrial Park.
 -- Philadelphia North: Parking lot, Bustleton Ave., and Bleigh St., and corner, Front St. and Olney Ave.
 -- Conowingo Power Co: Big Elk Mall, Elkton, Md.
 The dry ice will be provided in paper bags in 12 pound blocks. Customers should bring sturdy boxes or other containers to place it in, and gloves to handle it with.
 Properly placed in the freezer portion of a refrigerator, the dry ice will preserve food for at least 24 hours.
