PECO ENERGY TO DISTRIBUTE DRY ICE WHILE SERVICE RESTORATION CONTINUES

 PHILADELPHIA, Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- PECO Energy Company (NYSE: PE) representatives will distribute dry ice at five locations today from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. for customers who remain without power due to the severe ice storm.
 The 50,000 pounds of dry ice will help keep perishables cold. The company distributed 100,000 pounds of dry ice to customers over the weekend. The dry ice locations will remain open until 3 p.m.. If a location has no activity for an extended period of time it will be closed and the dry ice moved to another, active location.
 Dry ice will be available at the following sites:
 -- Bucks County:
 Bensalem Plaza Shopping Center, 2040 Street Road, Bensalem.
 -- Chester County:
 K mart in the Ingleside Shopping Center, Route 30, Thorndale.
 Acme Supermarket in the Paoli Shopping Center, Lancaster Avenue and Route 252, Paoli.
 -- Delaware County:
 South side parking lot of the Granite Run Mall, Route 1, Middletown Township.
 The Best store in the Lawrence Park Shopping Center, Lawrence and Sproul roads, Broomall.
 As of 9 a.m., PECO Energy reported approximately 14,000 customers without electricity. A total of 590,000 customers were affected by the Friday ice storm.
