PEARSON ENTERS UK SCHOOL SOFTWARE MARKET WITH ACQUISITIONS.Pearson Plc. (London) has acquired Phoenix First and SummIT for Schools Ltd. (Edinburgh), two providers of management and information systems to the UK education market. No terms of the deal were given. The two units become a part of Pearson Education Pearson Education is an international publisher of textbooks and other educational material, such as multimedia learning tools.
