CBS News and three Oklahoma City television stations were among the 33 television and radio organizations honored Thursday with a George Foster Peabody

CBS News won for its coverage of the assassination of Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin of Israel and the three stations for their reporting on the terrorist bombing in Oklahoma City.

The awards, for excellence in broadcast and cable television, are administered by the University of Georgia's Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications.

Other winners included Barbara Walters of ABC News, for her interview with Christopher Reeve; Oprah Winfrey, for her work on talk shows; and PBS PBS
