A resurgence in infrastructure investments on the part of the railroad industry is the main reason that PDM Bridge has realized such an extensive increase in bookings this year over last year, according to John Grzybowski, PDM Bridge president.

"The consolidation of major players in the railroad industry and a strong national economy have necessitated major infrastructure improvements. Because of the heavy volume of railroad traffic and larger car capacities, the railroads have had to upgrade and rebuild their bridges to support the increased demand. PDM Bridge is positioned very well to take advantage of this business opportunity," said Grzybowski.

Contributing to PDM Bridge's positive outlook for the future is a recently passed federal highway bill, the $217 billion Transportation Equity Act for the 21st Century
