PCS Wireless Inc. announces receipt of patent.


VANCOUVER, BC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 23, 1995-- PCS (1) (Personal Communications Services) Refers to wireless services that emerged after the U.S. government auctioned commercial licenses in 1994 and 1995. This radio spectrum in the 1.  Wireless, Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been granted patent No. 5,377,255 by the United States United States, officially United States of America, republic (2005 est. pop. 295,734,000), 3,539,227 sq mi (9,166,598 sq km), North America. The United States is the world's third largest country in population and the fourth largest country in area.  Patent Office for its proprietary cordless telephone repeater design.

Dr. Andrew Beasley, the patent inventor states: "This patent covers technology that is currently utilized in PCS Wireless distributed antenna array (DAA DAA - Distributed Application Architecture: under design by Hewlett-Packard and Sun. A distributed object management environment that will allow applications to be developed independent of operating system, network or windowing system. ) product offerings overseas, and which will soon find applications in the PCS market in the United States." The United States patent portfolio continues to build: In summer of 1994 PCS Wireless was awarded U.S. patent # 5,321,736 in a related field. These patents and other pending patents will be offered for license to PCS equipment vendors in the United States.
