PCN Technology, Inc. Receives "Most Outstanding Clean Energy Smart Grid Venture" Award from Texas Clean Energy Venture Conference.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- PCN Technology, Inc. (PCN) (www.pcntechnology.com) recently received the award for The Most Outstanding Clean Energy "Smart Grid" Venture. The award was presented to PCN at the recent Austin Clean Energy Venture Conference held in Austin, Texas.

There was excellent feedback both before the conference and after about the importance of PCN's technology to the Smart Grid of the future. We are very pleased that PCN was able to participate in what has quickly become the leading Clean Energy forum in the United States, noted Joel Serface, the Director of the Austin Clean Energy Incubator and principal organizer of the 2007 Austin Clean Energy Venture Conference.

PCN was asked to present its company, technology and product visions to a group of over 400 attendees including Utilities, Media, Investors and other companies who have interests in Clean Energy markets. Topics at the conference included the utility of the future, green buildings, clean transportation and the smart grid.

The Summit also hosted a number of distinguished key note addresses. Speaker James Woolsey, former director of the CIA, discussed clean transportation solutions such as plug-in hybrid electric vehicles and Gary Cowger, group vice president of General Motors, talked about the Big Three automakers' participation in the U.S. Climate Action Partnership. Texas Land Commissioner Jerry Patterson offered statistics on the future of wind power harvested in the Gulf of Mexico, outlining how the near-constant breezes and access to power transmission lines create a nearly ideal situation for producing electricity with no carbon output.
