. "Our technical conference was attended by more than 200 nonwovens professionals from all over the world."

 Mr. Kessenich, the conference showcased experts who spoke about the latest advancements in nonwovens printing, coating, fluid application, bonding and embossing embossing, process of producing upon various materials designs or patterns in relief by mechanical means. The material is pressed between a pair of dies especially adapted to its hardness and the depth of the design needed. . "Our speakers gave detailed, interesting presentations and sparked a lot of discussion from our guests," Mr. Kessenich said. "We covered a wide range of interesting subjects and at the same time showcased some of PCMC's abilities as a flexographic printing supplier for nonwovens." Attendees listened to a day and a half of industry experts' presentations at Northeast Wisconsin Technical College Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, also called NWTC, is one of the 16 technical and community colleges in the Wisconsin Technical College System. The College serves nine Wisconsin counties with three campuses in Green Bay, Marinette, and Sturgeon Bay and five regional . The conference concluded with lab line and machinery demonstrations at the PCMC Technology Center, giving participants a view of PCMC's latest advances in nonwovens converting and printing. "People were really excited to see the machinery and lab line demonstrations," Mr. Kessenich added. "We demonstrated our flexographic printing equipment and actually converted printed and packaged wet wipe A wet wipe, also known as a wet nap or a moist towelette, is a small moistened piece of paper or cloth that often comes folded and individually wrapped in its own wrapper for convenience, much like a packet of sugar or a condom.  samples on our lab line."

PCMC said it is already working to build on the success of this event for 2006.

In other news, PCMC signed a letter of intent to be acquired by Barry-Wehmiller Companies, St. Louis, MO, in June. "By combining forces with Barry-Wehmiller, we will be able to compete more effectively in the global marketplace," said Frederick Baer, PCMC president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. . The company's operating facilities will remain in Green Bay and retain the PCMC brand name.
