PCL Plans to Implement Spotlight on Active Directory Integration

With Microsoft Operations Manager

PCL, a geographically dispersed construction organization, sought better control over its numerous domain controllers within its dynamically changing Microsoft Active Directory infrastructure.

While searching for Microsoft infrastructure troubleshooting and management tools, PCL conducted a head-to-head comparison between Quest Software and a leading competitor. PCL selected Quest Software because it provides a complete suite of tools for problem troubleshooting and ongoing management and maintenance of the Microsoft infrastructure. It discovered that Spotlight on Active Directory allows the IT staff to proactively troubleshoot problems, diagnosing and resolving issues often before replication and authentication performance degradation occurs. It also found that Quest ActiveRoles helps them manage key aspects of Active Directory including domain controller replication, Group Policy maintenance and organizational unit security resulting in system optimization.
