PCC Signs Aircraft, Gas Turbine Castings Contract.

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC PCC prothrombin complex concentrate. ), Portland, Oregon, signed a five-year agreement with FiatAvio, Turin, Italy, to manufacture aerospace and aeroderivative investment castings--valued at approximately $130 million through 2005. The agreement covers 22 castings for various aircraft engine programs and for LM2500 and LM6000 gas turbine engines.

The work will be performed at three PCC locations: PCC Structurals, Inc., in Portland, Oregon and Ogeu-les-Bains, France; and Wyman-Gordon Castings' small structural operation in Portland, Oregon. For all but one engine program, the long-term agreement grants 100% market share to PCC.
